Pre-Simon June House Progress (June 1 - June 14)

For the first two weeks of June we continued living in the house while the construction continued and more and more of our house became unusable.  By the time we headed to the hospital on the 14th for the beginning of labor we were pretty much reduced to just our bedroom and the bathroom.
On June 8 they built out the frame for a big window in the temp kitchen (which will eventually be a small family room off of the kitchen)

It was so nice to have natural light somewhere besides the very front of the house again, even if the temp kitchen wasn't really useable anymore

On June 10 they tore out the wall between the temp kitchen and the old living room (which will become the new dining room).  This wall is moving back (south) slightly and the doorway is getting much larger

Couches and tables and clutter all piled up in the very front of the living room by the window

Standing in the temp laundry room looking north through the torn out wall at the new window in the temp kitchen
