This Morning

This morning we did lots of walking around and chatting. Just a normal morning in the life. The tongue is out in some of these pictures because he's getting all 4 of his first molars right now so his mouth hurts. The video has a few words in it and a bit of walking.

So many more pictures after the jump.

Picture of the Day: 7/29/12

One of Simon's favorite things to do in the backyard is sit under the steps and play with the sprinklers while they're not spitting water

Lawn work

Simon and Alan did lawn work this weekend. It had gotten a bit crazy since we were out of town last week. Alan got a new thing for the mower that picks up the clippings and is putting that on in the first picture. Simon is picking up the toys that somehow keep getting spread across the lawn.

Look at the neighbor's garage color - copy cats!

What a difference the mowing makes!

So many things going on that we're way behind in posts. But here is a Simon walking/waving video taken today by Jenn to tide you over.

After breakfast Simon goes back to the high chair and checks to see if he dropped anything in his chair. Today he found some lost Cheerios. Don't worry, he cleaned them up.

At Toys R Us playing with all the toys! We didn't let him see the one we were buying for his birthday.

Memorial Day get together in the back yard. Play in the sprinkler and trying on Joseph's hat!

More after jump...

I made coconut and pineapple homemade popsicles. Perfect in the 90 degree weather! Cool sprinkler and a fun bucket and the world is perfect. Note how many of these pictures he's standing... all of them! He's started taking one step without holding on to anything and then falling. So close to walking!
