Simon's Spring 2017 School Picture - Kindergarten

We got Simon's 2017 spring school photo. He was making a pretty goofy face in all the options, but I still got them because it pretty accurately displays his pretty goofy personality lately. It's below in full resolution if you'd like to download and print.

Literal Minded Blueberry Eater...

Lillian asked me if she could eat some of the big bowl of blueberries on the table. I said, yeah, just don't eat them all it is almost dinner. She came back a few minutes later to tell me she did not eat them all - she left one. 

Lillian's Ballet Class 2017

We put Lillian in a ballet class in October (which is the first month she was eligible). She has her very first ballet show in June and this past weekend they had a parent observation class. They normally do not allow parents in the room while the kids are practicing.

I took a bunch of videos which are all after the jump, but the first one is the practice of her class's dance for the show. Lillian is 4th from the far end and you can see her better in the mirror.

Grandpa Bart visit May 2017

Grandpa Bart came to visit this past weekend. We did more than eat, but I only remembered to take a picture while we were eating! :) 

Mother's Day 2017

The kids were SO QUIET this morning I slept in until 7:30! Then I woke to these two lovely notes (Alan transcribed the kids answers, each kid wrote their own name!) Lillian then spun for me for a little bit (in the video).
