It was freezing cold on Christmas Eve, but that didn't stop us from playing in the snow. We were the first people at the playground - pristine snow everywhere - and it looked like an army had marched through when we left.
This year we got to have our Christmas Cookie Party. We made so many cookies as presents from the kids to folks and decorated so many more just to eat!
This year we did a mini session with Santa at a friend of mine's photography studio instead of standing in line for a photo. This is the way to go going forward! The pictures are amazing and there are so many wonderful ones to choose from so I can't decide which is my favorite.

Simon is in an after school activity (which he is not a fan of) but which allowed him to perform before a bulls game this year! The whole family went and had a blast at the game. Simon won't be in Big Dream Drama anymore, but we'll definitely go to more Bulls games as a family.

This is Lillian's first attempt at her name for Pre-K. She's been doing a great job freehand lately, so I'm not surprised at how amazingly great she did on her first try. She'll graduate to writing her full name in no time!
