Lillian told me that she was going to be a "Bad Guy". So she spiked up her hair into a mo-hawk, fisted her hands and started making serious faces.

3 Kittens at Emerald City
We went to Emerald City Theatre a couple weeks ago and saw the play Three Little Kittens. You'll never guess, they lost their mittens! And that is how the mystery began. The kids all helped the kittens search for their mittens so they could have some pie. Note: No pie was served at the end of this play, much to my disappointment.

First Pizza and Family Movie Night - WALL-E
We watched Wall-E and ate pizza on Sunday night in what we anticipate will be the first of many family movie nights. The kids were very much absorbed by the movie - both loved it.

Belmont Bunny Hop 2016
We went to the Belmont Bunny Hop - which was a bunch of stores on Belmont all doing some kid activities - coloring, face painting, cookie decorating, stickers, etc. Kids had a blast. Lillian was terrified of the Easter Bunny, but had no problem walking up to Darth Vader and telling him he was a 'Good Guy'. Simon was sure he was a bad guy and Darth told Lillian she was the only one who 'really got him'. It was a great exchange.

Simon's Art and Journal
| An Octopus in the center with friends around. The Eel in the upper left has lots of lines and is smiling because he likes being close to the octopus. |

City kids take the train to dinner
I took my little city kids on the train to Noodles and Co for dinner out just the three of us. We had Mac&Cheese with Chicken and then road the train home - and went an extra stop so we could stretch our legs a little. It was a great night and they had such fun on the train. We'll definitely be doing it more now that Lillian is able to stay awake past 5:30.
