First Day of School 2018

First day of 2nd Grade for Simon and first day of Pre-K for Lillian. It's her second year in the Pre-K room so she's an expert already. 

iFly for Alan's Birthday Day/ Mother's Day

Way back for his birthday in January we got Alan a gift certificate for iFly. We have been so busy and a bit forgetful, so we finally booked it on Mother's Day weekend. It was such an adventure. The kids ADORED it. The videos below are of our second 2 minute 'flight'.

Christmas Dinner at Colleen and Joe's

We spent Christmas Dinner at Colleen's house with all of the family. Gaga and Papa, Michael and Lisa, Amy and Sarah, Colleen and Joe and we also got to see Grandpa Bart! And all of Joe's family, including Abby and Logan, Joe's niece and nephew. It was a great time!

Lillian's Holiday Concert at CCC 2016

Last night Lillian had her very first holiday concert at her Pre-K. She has been super excited for weeks leading up to it, she has been singing songs and been so proud. We all dressed up and went as a family (Alan, Emily, Simon, Auntie Colleen, and Jenn; sadly Auntie Amy was sick). She did great and was so proud. There was a visit from Santa at the end with some fun hanging out time with teachers and friends and parents. Bedtime was 8pm (AH!) but it was worth it.

Simon's First Day of PRE-K 2015

Today is Simon's first day of Pre-K 2015. Hamilton has a 3 and 4 year old class, so he is back with the same teachers and in the same classroom, but as one of the older kids who already knows the ropes. He has been very excited for school to start. Alan and I both dropped him off this morning and he hardly noticed when we left.

Arizona Weekend with the Whole Family

After some unexpected news, we changed our summer vacation plans so ensure that we got to spend some time as a family in Arizona. Colleen and Joe, Alan and I, and Simon and Lillian all flew down to Arizona together. Simon is such a good little traveler now. On the way out Simon and Alan got 2 seats together at the front of the plane and Joe, Colleen and I sat with Lap-Baby-Lillian in 3 seats together. As the plane took off, Lillian peed all over me. With that out of the way the rest of the flight wasn't so bad!

Simon was very excited to go back to AZ. Both kids loved the visit - loved seeing their grandparents and loved playing in the pool! There was time for lots of family pictures before the weekend ended. Simon, Lillian, Alan and Joe all flew home on Monday morning and Colleen and I stayed for most of that week to help out.

Fall 2014 Family Pictures - By Jenn

I can't believe I forgot to post these! I love them. Jenn took family photos of us this fall. Simon is 3.5 and Lillian is one year old in these photos. The sweater she is wearing was hand knit by Alan's Aunt Sharon.
