Gaga and Papa got Simon a basketball hoop for his birthday. They spent some time building it together and Simon got the first three shots in!

Gaga and Papa Visit - March 24-27, 2017

We had a great weekend with Gaga and Papa. Unfortunately, the weather was terrible so we didn't get to go outside much, but we had a couple entertaining kids to keep us going. It was a great weekend!

Christmas Dinner at Colleen and Joe's

We spent Christmas Dinner at Colleen's house with all of the family. Gaga and Papa, Michael and Lisa, Amy and Sarah, Colleen and Joe and we also got to see Grandpa Bart! And all of Joe's family, including Abby and Logan, Joe's niece and nephew. It was a great time!

Grandpa Bart Visit August 13, 2016

Simon and Grandpa Bart went to a baseball game and generally we had a blast. We didn't take many pictures because we were having so much fun!

Gaga and Papa's Visit: July 27, 2016

We had such a fun visit with Gaga and Papa.  Out to dinners, building, cooking and exercising!

Aunt Kathy Visit: July 21-24

Auntie Kathy came to visit and we had a great time. She brought crazy goggles for the kids and they LOVE them and for the first day wouldn't take them off.  Just us adults tried to go out on the town for an evening and on a boat tour to see the fireworks, but the weather had other ideas and a lightening storm with torrential downpours stopped the boats from going out on the lake. It was a fun time and we had natural fireworks!

Gaga and Papa May 2016 Visit

We had a great visit with Gaga and Papa. There was lots of laughing, some signing, reptile touching, outdoor adventuring and general hanging out time.

Grandparent's Day 2016

Luckily this year Grandpa Bart was in town on Simon's Pre-K Grandparent's Day. The grandparents got to sit in on the morning work, do a music class with the kids and generally see what their days are like. Simon and Grandpa Bart took the afternoon off school to go to the Cubs game and ended up making friends with some guys in the box seats and sat there most of the game.

New Years Eve Basque Visit (A Rescheduled Christmas)

A great visit all around. Hours spent at the Shedd Aquarium (where Lillian saw Frosty!), many card games (Uno and Go Fish), singing, dancing, cooking, playing, watch admiring, present opening and generally having tons of fun!
