Going Mobile

Emily and Simon are finally able to start getting out of the house and into the sunshine.  The more we take him out and about, the more lucky we feel to have such a mellow little guy.
On Thursday June 23rd (when Simon was just one week old) we took our first family trip to someplace other than the doctor.  We drove up to Family Grounds Cafe and relaxed there for a few hours.  Simon was so patient and well-behaved the whole time, which made us feel more comfortable to take him out to more places.

Saturday the 26th: time for our first walk using the stroller.  We went just a short distance down the street to Suvan's for lunch.

Once again, Simon was so considerate of his parents and let us have a long leisurely lunch.

This morning, the 26th, we headed out for our first baby-wearing walk.  We headed a little further east to a little independent coffee shop over on Southport that we love, Safari Cup.
We've been here for almost 3 hours now and he's been great.  We took a quick diaper change a little while ago and did some discreet nursing, and other than those short breaks Simon is so content to snuggle with his mom the whole time.
