Kitchen Decisions (so far)

Emily and I are still trying to decide on our appliances, cabinets and fixtures for the kitchen.  I think at this point our oven and refrigerator are pretty definite but we're still up in the air for the other things. We're open to any comments or suggestions so please let us know what you think.

Our preferences so far are:

Range and Hood: BlueStar RNB 48"

Refrigerator: SubZero BI-36U

 Dishwasher: we're leaning towards a 

Miele G 2472 SC SF Optima or G 2872 SC SF La Perla

For cabinets we were originally going to go with Bertch Legacy.  We even got a couple of sample doors of the "Lexington" style from the designer to see how colors match against our floor (seen below leaning against the wall in our temp kitchen):

But after learning that painted doors were a significant markup in that line we talked to a different designer who recommended Dynasty (by Omega).  The quality of that manufacturer is supposedly just as good as the Bertch Legacy line but paint is a much smaller price increase over stain.  We haven't chosen a door design from their selection yet... if we end up going with this designer and manufacturer we'll probably end up with another Shaker-like style similar to what we chose from Bertch.
