Simon still loves his train set. This weekend Alan and Simon were playing and Simon was a champ about connecting the trains all by himself. I am sure someone has said this before: He's very advanced for his age. :)
Pictures after jump.
The CTA trains attach to each other with magnets and are Simon's BIG trains. Though he did recently look at them and seem to recognize them as the CTA Choo-Choos he waves to on the street.

| Big trains are connected with magnets, these two weren't working! |

| Simon understood and did as Daddy suggested and ... |
| It worked! |
The little trains are connected through plastic interlocking ring things. They are not so easy to attach (even for big kids) and GaGa Kiki had the great idea over Christmas of setting the trains down on the track and pushing them together. That trick has made all the difference. Simon sometimes needs a reminder, but when he remembers the trains don't stand a chance!

| Connecting the little trains are hard. |
| Sometimes they just don't line up like they should. |
| Setting them down on the track makes them line up way easier! |
| Tada! |
