Lillian Singing to herself

Lillian loves singing. She sings to herself rather often when she's happy. Her current favorites are Snuggle Puppy (a book by Sandra Boynton), ABC (where she makes up sounds and says C and F and A pretty randomly) and Twinkle Twinkle. Below is me sneaking up on her singing to herself in her room.

Weekend and a visit to Auntie Colleen and Joe's

We had a lovely weekend - the weather was amazing! Simon had his first school dance. He mostly ran races with the other boys but he paused long enough to do the conga. We did regular weekend stuff Saturday - but on Sunday we went to Auntie Colleen and Joe's! Lillian and Simon shared their first pudding pop (Simon was significantly cleaner so we took fewer pictures of him). Then we went for a walk with Bailey and visited the brand new park around the corner from their house. Great weekend!

She loves the nice weather. And Snacks. She loves snacks too.

I asked her to smile - this is what I got. Delightful!

Bailey was really hoping she would drop that popsicle.
Look at the birds!

Walking Bailey. Both of them were great about this.
When I asked Simon to stop so I could take a picture he told Bailey to sit and she did!

Lillian seeing if her water bottle would balance on Bailey. It did not.

Lillian meets Frannie! (Jessie's Cat)

Jessie and Lillian swung by Jessie's house today and Lillian got to eat a cracker and meet Jessie's cats. Lillian really wanted to share her cracker with the cat.

Play date with Maddie/Vickie/Joseph and Auntie Weekend

Alan went to Boston for a long weekend so Auntie Colleen came to stay with us for a couple nights. We snuggled down at the house on the cold, rainy Saturday but Sunday was beautiful so we got to go to Vickie and Joseph's house and see Maddie and then Auntie Amy and her friend Dave and my friend Breanne came over on Sunday afternoon to play some baseball!

Rainy Saturday snuggles.

Serious Lincoln Log building

I took about 100 pictures of the three of them and this is the best one I got.

Hugs all around as we left.
Snack outside.
Sunday afternoon backyard baseball.
Eating with his new construction silverware.
Reading with Dave.

PBJ and popcorn

Because Alan was out of town I fed the kids Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches for dinner two nights in a row. They loved it the first night and were way more interested with the side of popcorn the second night.
