Pool fun

We washed up the little pool that Auntie Colleen and Joe got and then we played all afternoon. It was so much fun.

Simons day at the office

For ages Simon has asked us about our work so I decided to bring him in with me. On Wednesday we got ready, both packed up our backpacks and headed to the train to be commuters. Simon and I walked into my building and he told me it was very nice. He was a little confused about the Xray machines, but I figure it's good practice for the airport. He scanned the badge and we walked into my office and there were a few people there and he was pretty confused. But when he realized these were co-workers that we made banana bread for he was pretty stoked. Even more stoked when I told him he could have a piece of the banana bread too. So we got settled, had a snack, walked around, saw the foosball table, the ping pong table and his new friends. I had one meeting while he was there and he was ok during the meeting, did some exploring though he was supposed to stay in my office, but it all worked out.

Jenn came by around 11:00 to pick him up and he drove home with her. Then he spent the afternoon telling her about the friends he made at work.

On our way to the train.
He could just see over the edge.
Typing!
Working hard.
Waiting for Jenn to pick him up.
While I was in a meeting, Simon took notes.

Misc Boston trip pics - Meeting Tony

Simon and Tony had a pretty serious talk. I'm guessing that they decided trains are the best.

Reading with Papa.

Warty toe

Simon had a wart on his toe appear a few months ago. It is partially under his toe nail so his regular doc sent us to the dermatologist. Because it is under his toe nail there could be issues with freezing it off so instead she gave us a cream to put on his toe every night for 6 weeks before we see her again. The cream is some mild acid or something and it is really doing a number on his poor toe. It doesn't usually hurt, but it does hurt when he kicks something with it. (Tested and proven! Don't you love 3 year olds.) Because he is a 3 year old and it is summer his toes are often dirty. We were told not to worry overly about the dirt, that it was more important to air it out during the day and just soak dirt out in the evening before the next application.  Simon loves all the baths!
