Almost there... stay on target...

There are still a few things left to do (a last coat of paint in a couple rooms, finishing the phone/cable/internet wiring, install the mirror and shower door in the master bath, move all the tools out of the first and second floors and clean up) but we're finally close enough to being finished that last night Emily and I were able to start unpacking a few boxes and putting things away into the kitchen.   We'll take a better set of pictures once it's all really complete, but for now here are some more shots of how things are looking now.

Looking from the living room over the peninsula into the kitchen and the back door.  On the left is the little "microwave closet" in the breakfast area.  We weren't sure what we were going to use for shelving in there, but Larry found a super inexpensive cabinet to install and used some of the leftover granite for the top

Simon's future bedroom, painted in fun green and yellow colors.  Right now it's still being used for storage as it has for the entire duration of the construction, but this week we'll be able to move all of this down to the basement and get it ready for our little roommate

The shower, vanity, and wall shelves in Simon's bathroom.  It's tough to tell from this picture, but the walls are actually painted a very subtle shade of orange.

Simon won't need this for a while but we figured we should install one anyway

Alan and Emily's future bedroom, painted in mature light grey.  Just about everything is done in here aside from a few missing outlet plates.

Larry used a piece of the vanity marble slab to put in the shadow box in the master shower.  The 1x1 tiles on the back of it are a nice additional touch.
