Ginger bread house 2015

We made a gingerbread house this weekend! Surprisingly little candy was eaten during the creation of this house. (Though Lillian does want to pick all the candy off and eat it now.)

Simon's Art

Simon's class has a couple of cork boards up in front of their room that the kids make art for. This is Simon's art for this month.

Text says: This is me. I am jumping into the ocean.
Lillian is jumping in there too with me. I
have a swimsuit on. There is a water
mouse on my swimsuit. We are going to
look for dolphins.

Painting with Jessie and Climbing at Park

She scooted up this so quickly I couldn't get my camera out in time.
But she was still very proud!
Talking colors with Jessie to prep for painting.
Blue!
THIS ONE!
Jessie makes her say the color before she can paint with it.
Most colors are 'blue' initially.

Cleaning and flossing on a Saturday

Cleaning this weekend. We gave the kids some chores and when they were done they played iPad while we finished up. Lillian wanted to help Daddy vacuum though.

Flossing a bit too.

Post Thanksgiving Circus Visit

On the Friday after Thanksgiving we went to Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Circus. It was amazing. Great for the kids and also great for us adults! We got there when the doors opened and as a result spent the hour on the circus floor watching some snippets of the acts.  Back at our seats, Auntie Colleen bought both kids light up toys and cotton candy while we watched Elephants, Camels, Strong Men, Tigers, Dogs, Tight-Rope-Walkers and even a lady getting shot out of a cannon for TWO HOURS!  Potty training Lillian did awesome - no accidents - though she was a little board during the last 15 minutes. Definitely something we will do again.

We were one of the first on the floor.
Lillian was not sure she liked this guy, but he tried.
There were so many things to see and we had front row seats!
Amazed face and Alan pointing something out to Simon. I think this was the opening act.
End of the day, with some crazy antsy kids.
Lillian was tackling Simon as we left. They had so much fun.
