Baking Christmas Cookie Presents

For Christmas this year Simon is giving people Christmas Cookies. We mixed together, he helped roll out the dough and he cut the cookies. He even used his finger to do the indent while I spooned out the raspberry jam. He also colored boxes and put the cookies into the boxes - counting 10 for each box.

When Lillian was first born, she slept all the time and barely cried.  "She's even mellower than baby Simon was!" we told everyone.  "This will be so easy!"

Little Beans Christmas Party

We won tickets to the Little Bean's Christmas Party on Friday night. Simon dressed up in his fancy duds and we went to see Santa at Little Beans. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of Lillian dressed up in her fancy silk outfit, but they both had their picture taken with Santa and Jenn got some pictures of them together before we left. The party was great fun. There was a lady reading stories and a guy playing the guitar, there was pizza and snacks and of course tons of toys and Santa! Simon had a blast!

With all the crazy when Lillian was first born I somehow never posted the amazing pictures that Jenn took of Simon and Lillian meeting. There are so many amazing ones!

Family snuggle time for sick boy...

We have had a long, sick last four days. Simon had a cough and runny nose and just totally felt run down. Poor kid. Lillian now has a cough too, but not stuff thankfully. Hopefully she stays healthy for us!
