Simon is playing baseball at OZ Park this year. They have a ton of kids/teams. They're split up by age and use the names of real teams for their team names. Simon is playing on 5s Red Sox. There are 10ish kids on the team and we had uniform pickup and picture day on Sunday. It was a BLAST. I thought it would be like 20 minutes, but they had popcorn, food, cotton candy, balloons, face painting and a DJ. It was a great time. We were there almost 2 hours. Games start mid April, expect many pictures.

Roscoe Village Belmont Bunny Hop 2017
We attended the Belmont Bunny Hop again - and this year Simon brought his best friend Grant. The kids were great listeners (thank heavens, since there was only one adult). We did pictures with the bunny, had our hands painted, did crafts and ate some chocolate. We also did LOTS of running up and down the sidewalk and laughing.

Gaga and Papa Visit - March 24-27, 2017
We had a great weekend with Gaga and Papa. Unfortunately, the weather was terrible so we didn't get to go outside much, but we had a couple entertaining kids to keep us going. It was a great weekend!

Lion king with the kids
We (Auntie Colleen, Alan, Emily, Simon and Lillian) all watched Lion King this weekend. Lillian had been begging to watch it for days. It's one of those movies that have some pretty intense scenes (dad being murdered by the uncle, uncle sending people to kill kid, little things) so we were a bit worried about how Simon would deal with it.
It ended up being a really great time. The kids loved it.

Swimming Update
Simon's transformation the past couple months has been amazing. By the end of his lesson this week he was swimming back and forth across the class section with his face underwater the whole way, no floats. I'm so excited for this summer. We'll definitely have to figure out some swimming plans!
