Hi Emily and Alan,

This week was a great week. We spent a lot of time outdoors, playing in the water and on the playground. We enjoyed yoga on Wednesday and did a wonderful job stretching our bodies and relaxing our minds. We also enjoyed a few art projects like creating dragonflies out of clothing pins and pipe cleaners and making a purple fish with glue and purple sand. Cooking class was a success as well - we really love being able to make our own delicious snacks to eat!

Hair cuts at Hair Cuttery for both kids

Goal is to grow out Lillian's hair, but it's an awkward length right now. She loves the idea of wearing a hair clip but usually takes it out to look at it after a few minutes.  She was just as serious and silent getting her hair cut this time as she was the first time. She refused to get her hair washed but enjoyed watching Simon get his hair washed. Simon had a blast and asked a million questions of the lady.

HI Alan and Emily,

The past two weeks have been so busy and fun here at CCC. We have been really enjoying our water play days and running around on the playground. We also look forward to our enrichment classes, especially our cooking classes. Last week, we made a red, white and blue yogurt parfait using strawberries, blueberries and yogurt. This week we made cinnamon apply twirlies using tortillas, cream cheese, apples and cinnamon. Our yoga/movement classes have been becoming better and we are working hard to balance our bodies and stretch our limbs. What a great summer we've been having!

After a very long 4th of July weekend, we spent the day primarily hiding in the air conditioning and relaxing. We did pop over to Jenn's house just to get out of the house for a bit...

It's been a really busy month! With Emily's Birthday, Simon's Birthday, Lillian starting Day Care, Simon finishing Pre-K and starting Day Care and (finally) getting the half walls finished in the basement.  Not to mention the amazing, beautiful weather!
