In May we had visits from the Basque Grandparents and Grandpa Bart, we had cold weather and beach weather and Lillian moved to a Toddler Bed!

Guess who climbed out of her crib today? We heard knocking from inside her bedroom door. Pretty creepy because I thought she was asleep.

Gaga and Papa May 2016 Visit

We had a great visit with Gaga and Papa. There was lots of laughing, some signing, reptile touching, outdoor adventuring and general hanging out time.

It was such a beautiful day yesterday that we pulled out the pool in the afternoon and ate dinner in the back yard. 

Dance Party (Instead of Desert)

I told the kids after dinner they could have desert and then would have to go right up to bed. Simon countered with a proposal to finish dinner, skip desert and have a dance party instead. I agreed. Enjoy.

Simons House-Plane

Last time I traveled to Detroit, Simon decided that it would be better if the whole house could fly to Detroit. Then the kids could travel with me. He's been making drawings and lego models of it since. My favorite part of the whole thing is when he describes it and he gets to the place the pilots sit. The CockPilot.
