Arizona Weekend with the Whole Family

After some unexpected news, we changed our summer vacation plans so ensure that we got to spend some time as a family in Arizona. Colleen and Joe, Alan and I, and Simon and Lillian all flew down to Arizona together. Simon is such a good little traveler now. On the way out Simon and Alan got 2 seats together at the front of the plane and Joe, Colleen and I sat with Lap-Baby-Lillian in 3 seats together. As the plane took off, Lillian peed all over me. With that out of the way the rest of the flight wasn't so bad!

Simon was very excited to go back to AZ. Both kids loved the visit - loved seeing their grandparents and loved playing in the pool! There was time for lots of family pictures before the weekend ended. Simon, Lillian, Alan and Joe all flew home on Monday morning and Colleen and I stayed for most of that week to help out.

A Day with Jenn

Jenn watched the kids overnight and took them to a birthday party in the morning so Alan and I could go to a wedding and sleep in a bit the morning after. They had a blast.

Ms Zairel home visit

Ms Zairel did her annual home visit today. She and Simon compared their summer vacation destinations on the map of the US. Simon was thrilled to see her and was very excited to talk about starting school again. First day is Sept 8th.

Boston 2015 - Jake, Emily and Avery

We juggled our summer vacation plans around and ended up shortening our trip to Boston. Despite that we were still lucky enough to visit with a few very special friends. Here are some photos of our afternoon with Jake, Emily, and their son Avery who is 6 months old!

Boston 2015 Leominster Visit

Had another amazing visit with the Leominster Basques the last time we were in Boston. Simon and Lillian loved playing with Abby and Jake. They read, played cars, swam and generally had an amazing time. Simon jumped off the diving board and Lillian loved jumping off the edge of the pool into whoever's arms happened to be closest. There is also a video of her talking on Abby's phone and Gaga responding from the other room.
