Trip to Microsoft store

We took a trip to the Microsoft store and both kids were thrilled that they not only got to look at any big TV screen that they wanted but they also got to touch the controllers. Here they are 'playing' soccer.

Blood draw for Lillian

I took Lillian for a quick (routine) blood draw. She hated the actual blood draw but loved walking the halls of the doctors office. Got results back and, as expected, she is perfect.

Nature Museum with Grandpa Bart

We took a quick trip to the Nature Museum and spent lots of time looking at the reptiles downstairs and the butterflies and birds upstairs! (Lillian loved the birds, video below.)

Christmas Morning 2014

We had a great Christmas Morning this year. The kids were so very excited! Unfortunately we didn't get any family photos in front of the tree or any group shots at all, but we got to open so many great presents!  Colleen and Joe woke up super early and were at our place by 6:30 so they could see the kids coming downstairs. Simon was bouncing he was so excited - but we had a quick snack before opening to forestall any hunger induced temperament issues. (Who doesn't get grouchy when they haven't eaten?) Grandpa Bart, Grandma Kiki, Joe, Colleen, Alan, Emily, Lillian and Simon then spent a lovely morning opening presents and then playing with all the great new toys we got.
