Lillian's First Year

For the past year, I've been taking a random picture of Lillian a few times a week every week, from when she was a day or two old until her first birthday today.

I then used an app to sew them all up together to make a couple little videos showing Lilly growing up over her first year.  One of them flies through the year in 15 seconds to see the development from tiny infant to cheerful baby, while the other is longer and spends more time on each picture.

She's changed so much in just a year... can't wait to see how she grows in her second year.

Videos of Lillian - signing book and blowing on bananas

Here is Lillian walking up with her book and asking me to read it to her....

She had some hot eggs for breakfast that I was blowing on. When I gave her the banana she blew on that too and it was super cute.

Hamilton Walkathon 2014

We had the Hamilton Walkathon and it was a great success. The school met it's goal numbers so we will see some construction happening (probably next spring) around the playground area you see behind the class picture. We walked a one mile route around the neighborhood and everyone in the pre-k class did great. Thank you to everyone who donated to Simon's walk!

The Pre-K class... All done with the 1 mile walk.

A bit of a warm up after the walk.

Simon and Noah and I walked together.

Writing letters and chores

For the past month or so Simon has had the chore of cleaning up under the kitchen table after dinner. He has a little dust buster that he uses and he is in charge of getting all crumbs and food from the whole area (including under Lillian's chair). We had missed the night before so after breakfast Simon did his chore while Lillian watched. She was pretty fascinated. Afterward Simon showed me how he writes his letters. I was so proud and impressed!!

A on the far right, B in the middle and another on the far left and a Very Big C.

He also added a D at the top and then showed me an upside down C.
