Stuck at Dinkel's

I went with Lillian to pick up Dinkel's for lunch on Sunday. Beautiful warm weather on my walk there... on the way home there were tornado and flood warnings. I had to stop and buy an umbrella and got stuck in 2 different stores to wait out the worst of it. By afternoon it was beautiful again.

Lillian has been getting her baths in the sink. She doesn't love or hate them, she just sleeps right through them.

Catch up to Wednesday...

We have had a great week. On Monday Simon went to the aquarium with Jenn and he touched a fish, then he played video game for the first time (car racing). Some park time on Tuesday and the Field Museum on Wednesday! While her brother explored the town, Lillian snuggled on the couch with Auntie Amy, hung out on her mat, made funny faces and lots of noise.

She has quite a strong neck - she is very advanced for her age.

2 Years with Jenn

November 7th marked the 2 year anniversary of Jenn joining our family. The past two years have been full of ups and downs for all of us, but always Simon has had Jenn's loving consistency.  We're so grateful to have her be such a big part of Simon's life and help him grow into the amazing kid that he has become. We are looking forward to the coming years with Jenn and Simon... and Lillian as well!

On Sunday Joseph, Vickie, Colleen, Joe, Lillian and I all went out to Dim Sum to celebrate Colleen's birthday. Lillian slept the whole time in Vickie or Joseph's arms and I ate ALL the dim sum while they were distracted.  I'm always going to bring a cute baby as a distraction when I'm going out to eat with a group!
