One of the restrictions after the surgery was no bathing until the steri-strips fell off his incision. Those darn strips never fell off! We had our follow-up this morning and they were surprised the strips were still on too. Apparently they usually fall off around a week, for Simon they took them off today. His back is looking great (picture below). The cut is healed so well it is hard to see at all. The top is a little red because underneath that area is where they tied off the stitches and it'll look slightly irritated for a bit longer but is fine. He is looking great and cleared to do everything again. We will see the doctor again in April. The very first thing we did when we got home from the doctor's office was strip him down for a bath.
