Simon's Pre-K Family night

Simon's class did a little performance for us - Simon was the line leader again, just like in the fall show. At the end of the night I asked for a picture with Simon and the teachers and other friends wanted to get in on the action too. 

The whole night every time I told another parent that I was Simon's mom they said "My kid talks about Simon all the time!" Apparently he's quite the little popular guy! One mom told me she overheard Simon walk up to her daughter Abigail as she walked into the classroom in the morning and say, "Hey Abbs, let's grab breakfast." I love that little guy.

We went for an evening walk (4:30ish). The kids each took a flashlight and had so much fun playing in the park in the dark. 

Simon's Field Trip - Children's Museum

I took chaperoned Simon's class field trip to the Chicago Children's Museum. It was insanity and wonderful fun both. 

Ginger bread house 2015

We made a gingerbread house this weekend! Surprisingly little candy was eaten during the creation of this house. (Though Lillian does want to pick all the candy off and eat it now.)

Simon's class has a couple of cork boards up in front of their room that the kids make art for. This is Simon's art for this month.

Cleaning this weekend. We gave the kids some chores and when they were done they played iPad while we finished up. Lillian wanted to help Daddy vacuum though.
