Swinging in the Rain

September photos...oops

I'm finally getting around to uploading some cute Simon photos from my phone from the last few weeks and I made them into square format so they will hopefully stay right side up! A few of these are from a playdate at little beans we had and the one with the other children are Simon's little friends from our nanny playgroup. That little girl is Sumner, she is 3 and LOVES Simon!! She has a little brother the same age as Simon but Simon will actually follow her around and they play together. It's sooo cute, he really likes hanging with the older kids but most of the playgroup is full with little boys right around Simons age. The ones with Simon and his new lunch box are from our picnic day. He loved carry his 'ba' around and even more excited when he realized it was full of food!!

Subway Sandwiches

Simon and I went to Chicago Bagel Authority on Thursday morning and it was closed due to fire! Simon was starving so we went across the street to subway for breakfast. I wasn't a huge fan, but Simon was a champ at eating his own sandwich!

There was a TV in the corner that had Subway commercials looping, Simon found it fascinating.

Hot dogs and corn with a serving of dairy in the form of Scooters. No complaints from Simon!

Purple monkey

Jenn is out for the week after her surgery (don't worry, she's recovering!) So Alan stayed home with Simon Tues and Wednesday. (I'll take Simon Thurs/Fri.) Yesterday Alan pulled out the last of Simon's birthday presents that were hidden away - a series of buckets. He loved them. Then they went to the Purple Monkey Playroom and had the run of the place. The puppet show was definitely a hit.
